Set within the decaying ruins of Blackthorne Asylum, players will uncover the facility’s monstrous legacy—a place where medicine and madness blurred together under the rule of a hidden cult. Once touted as a center for healing, the asylum became the stage for twisted experiments meant to fuse faith and flesh through a ritual known as The Preparation. The cult’s ultimate goal: to create a collective consciousness born from biological manipulation and belief.
At the heart of this nightmare lies SUBJECT 357, a former staff member transformed by the cult’s infamous Apex Experiment. Stripped of humanity but driven by its remnants, SUBJECT 357 stalks the asylum as a relentless predator—a living echo of the cult’s ambition and its catastrophic failure.
