Indie developer Hallucinations Studio has announced that its debut in-house title, Crêpe Master!, will launch on May 7 for Meta Quest 3 and 3S. Players can already wishlist the game on the Meta Horizon Store ahead of its release.
A Magical Girl With a Culinary Twist
In this vibrant VR beat ’em up, players take on the role of Hana, a magical girl infused with the power of the legendary Crêpe Goddess. Equipped with her Sacred Pan, Hana must defend Earth from an alien threat determined to wipe out crêpes for good. The game mixes whimsical storytelling with high-energy action, creating a playful yet heroic adventure.
Gesture-Based Combat and Unique Mechanics
Crêpe Master! leans heavily into VR interactivity, allowing players to cast spells through dynamic poses and gestures. Combat is fast-paced and physical, with players smashing enemies using the Sacred Pan while recovering stolen ingredients. A quick-fire crêpe-cooking mini-game adds another layer to the gameplay, boosting Hana’s magical abilities and keeping the action varied.
A Colorful Single-Player Adventure
Designed as a solo experience, the game combines arcade-style brawling with bright, stylized visuals. Its blend of humor, action, and unconventional themes helps it stand out in the growing VR market.
About the Developer
Hallucinations Studio is a worker-run cooperative based in Lyon, France, founded in 2024. While also supporting the upcoming multiplayer horror title Haunted, the team is now preparing to release Crêpe Master! as its first original project.
