Martin Rumenov Steam Next Fest demo lands October 13 with exclusive rewards
A new chapter in tabletop-inspired adventures begins this fall with Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked, the tactical co-op strategy RPG from Resolution Games, developed in collaboration with Wizards of the Coast. Slated to launch on November 20, 2025 for $29.99 USD, the game will be available on Steam, PlayStation, and Meta Quest, uniting adventurers across platforms in a bold new reimagining of classic D&D storytelling.
First Taste of Adventure: Steam Next Fest Demo
Players won’t have to wait until launch to step into the danger-filled halls of Battlemarked. An exclusive demo will debut during Steam Next Fest from October 13–20, giving fans an early chance to experience fragments of two quests from the debut campaign.
The demo allows up to four players to band together as iconic adventurers, including:
- Bolthrax, the fiery dragonborn paladin
- Tibby, the halfling sorcerer with a deep connection to the Weave
- Jessix, a ranger driven by vengeance
- Ash, a tiefling rogue who masks her heartache with sharp wit
Together, these heroes must withstand a dangerous Goblin ambush in Neverwinter Wood and venture into a Myconid colony where the once-peaceful mushroom creatures have turned hostile.
Resolution has also teased two additional characters—Tharok the dwarf fighter and Lyria the elf bard—who will join the roster at launch.
As an added bonus, those who play through both scenarios during Next Fest will earn exclusive cosmetic skins for Battlemarked’s signature 20-sided dice.
A Fresh Spin on Classic D&D
Battlemarked blends the lore-rich foundations of Dungeons & Dragons with the fast, strategic gameplay of Resolution Games’ award-winning Demeo system. The result is a cooperative, turn-based adventure designed to be immediately accessible but layered enough for strategic depth.
With a focus on pick-up-and-play action, choice-driven quests, and reimagined D&D classes and spells, the game aims to deliver adventures where every player, veteran or newcomer, feels like a true hero.
