Barcelona, April 16, 2026 — JanduSoft, together with Spanish virtual reality studio Bowl of Tentacles, has officially announced the upcoming release of Evil Inside VR, launching May 7 for PlayStation VR2 and Meta Quest 3.
Rather than a straightforward adaptation, Evil Inside VR has been rebuilt from the ground up to take full advantage of virtual reality technology. The development team has focused on transforming the original game into a deeply immersive experience where players don’t just witness the horror—they inhabit it.

This new version introduces a completely overhauled audio system designed to heighten tension and create a constant sense of unease. Enhanced lighting techniques further amplify the oppressive atmosphere, ensuring that every shadow and flicker contributes to the fear factor. Gameplay has also been refined, with controls tailored specifically for VR and adjustments made to both the story and puzzle mechanics.
The result is a more intense and personal horror journey, placing players directly inside the haunted environment. Each sequence is crafted to deliver fresh, unsettling scenarios that build psychological pressure and keep players on edge throughout the experience.

With its redesigned systems and focus on immersion, Evil Inside VR aims to deliver a gripping and terrifying adventure for fans of the genre when it arrives this May.
