Early Access Launch Date Confirmed
Reakktor Studios, alongside publisher Senatis, has announced that its upcoming action flight simulator G-Rebels will enter Early Access on July 20, 2026. The game, considered a spiritual successor to the classic G-Police, will be available on Steam for Windows following valuable feedback gathered during its demo phase.
Immersive VR and High-End Visuals
One of the standout features of G-Rebels is its native virtual reality mode, allowing players to fully immerse themselves in a first-person cockpit perspective. This VR support brings a new level of intensity to aerial maneuvers across futuristic cityscapes. Additionally, players with powerful hardware can enable the “Insane” graphics mode to experience enhanced visual detail and performance.

Missions and Gameplay Variety
At the start of Early Access, players will have access to the game’s first chapter, which includes nine main missions forming the foundation of a story filled with twists and intrigue. Beyond that, players can engage in around ten side missions and additional activities such as races and bounty hunting. Mission objectives vary widely, including escort operations, assassination tasks, smuggling runs, patrols, and large-scale combat encounters around massive cargo ships.
Expanding World of the Atlas Archipelago
The game is set within the Atlas Archipelago, with the massive city of Daevos serving as a central hub. Early Access will also introduce new regions beyond the main metropolis, offering players a glimpse into other detailed megacities and expanding the playable world.
Advanced Technology and Seamless Exploration
G-Rebels features a seamless open world with no loading screens, supported by modern world-streaming technology. The environment is enhanced by dynamic weather systems, volumetric clouds, and a realistic day-night cycle. Combined with immersive 3D surround sound, these elements aim to deliver a highly atmospheric and engaging flight experience.

Developer Vision and Community Feedback
Martin Schwiezer of Reakktor Studios described the Early Access launch as a significant milestone. He emphasized that feedback from the demo has been instrumental in shaping the game and will continue to influence its development as the team works closely with the community to refine and expand the experience.
