PICO Release Confirmed for How to God
Berlin-based studio Thoughtfish GmbH has announced that its top-rated VR god simulation, How to God, is coming to the PICO platform. This move extends the game’s availability beyond its current presence on Meta Quest and Steam, allowing more players worldwide to experience the title.
The game is already live for wishlisting on PICO, giving interested users an early opportunity to track its release.
No Release Date Yet, but Development Progresses
Although Thoughtfish has not shared an official launch date for the PICO version, development is actively underway. The studio encourages fans to stay updated through its social channels for announcements regarding release timing, playtests, and upcoming events.

Feature Parity Across All Platforms
The PICO version of How to God will maintain the same update cycle as the Meta Quest and Steam editions. This means players can expect synchronized updates, including new features, gameplay improvements, and bug fixes across all platforms.
Chinese Localization in Development
To better serve PICO’s user base and expand its international reach, Thoughtfish is working on a full Chinese localization. Once completed, the language option will be added to all versions of the game, not just the PICO release.
Community Engagement and Updates
Thoughtfish is actively building its community around How to God. Players can follow updates, participate in giveaways, and join playtests by connecting through the studio’s Discord server or social media platforms such as Twitter, Bluesky, and YouTube.
The company also expressed gratitude to Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg for its continued support in the project’s development.
