Estonian VR studio CM Immersive OÜ (CMI) has officially announced that Into the Radius 2, the sequel to their acclaimed VR survival shooter, will leave Early Access and launch its 1.0 version on April 23, 2026. Alongside the announcement, the developers unveiled a teaser trailer giving players a glimpse of the new content and expanded storyline.
The milestone 1.0 update will make the game fully playable from start to finish, bringing a complete narrative experience to players. It also introduces a range of significant additions, including new weapons, an overhauled travel and discovery system, fresh anomalies, mission types, and a gun paint customization mechanic. Fans of the original game will also be pleased to see the return of grenades, melee combat, and even the iconic guitar.
On the equipment side, players can look forward to new gear options such as night vision goggles and flare rockets, enhancing tactical depth and nighttime exploration.

A beta version of the final update is expected to be available for testing shortly, giving players an early chance to try out the upcoming features.
