Martin Rumenov Realcast, the award-winning XR development studio, has announced the debut of Jurassic Giants, the first major expansion for its mixed-reality hit Le Dino Labo, now available on Meta Quest.
Since its launch, Le Dino Labo has captivated players with its hands-on approach to reconstructing dinosaurs in mixed reality. Nearly one-third of players have reportedly completed every available dinosaur build, sparking demand for more prehistoric puzzles. Responding to that enthusiasm, Realcast is expanding its virtual lab with new large-scale assembly challenges and life-sized Jurassic species.
Three Majestic Jurassic Icons
The Jurassic Giants DLC introduces three iconic dinosaurs from the Late Jurassic period:
- Allosaurus, the fast, fearsome predator of open plains
- Stegosaurus, a spiked herbivore equipped with armored plates
- Diplodocus, one of the longest creatures to ever walk the Earth
Each of these giants has been carefully adapted for Le Dino Labo’s signature hands-on system, allowing players to examine fossils, assemble massive skeletons, and witness them come alive at true scale within their physical environment.
A Deeper and Richer Lab Experience
Building upon the foundation of the base game, the new DLC adds fresh layers of gameplay and education:
- Complex fossil assembly puzzles with varying difficulty settings
- Added scientific context revealed as players progress
- Enhanced full mixed reality integration for an authentic life-sized experience
This expansion continues Realcast’s mission to blend tactile learning, creativity, and spatial interaction, setting the stage for a planned series of monthly DLCs featuring new species and eras shaped by community feedback.
