Meta, formerly named Facebook. Inc. is an American multinational technology conglomerate based in Menlo Park, California, has announced the release of Meta Horizon Worlds v145, introducing several updates and improvements to enhance the user experience in the virtual world.
All Your Horizon Worlds Items in One Place
The Horizon menu has been updated to organize all user items in one place, making it easier for users to manage their virtual possessions. A new feature, a mirror, has been added to allow users to check their Avatar’s appearance and make edits before exploring the Worlds. Users can click the backpack icon from the mirror view to access their Horizon Worlds items and choose to edit their name tag stickers, emotes, and appearance, including equipping earned rewards. This new Horizon menu will be gradually rolled out to more users in the coming weeks.
Quality of Life Improvements
The user menu has also seen some updates for ease of use. These include reordering items and adding a divider in the overflowed area, making navigation more intuitive and user-friendly.
Highlighted Bug Fixes
One of the key bug fixes in this release addresses an issue where users couldn’t see the avatar coin when others were in pause mode. This fix enhances the interaction between users and their avatars, providing a more seamless virtual experience.
Despite these improvements, there are still some known issues that the Worlds team is currently investigating. These include an unresponsive Personal Home button in the menu for some users and photo frames in the Personal Home space showing a pink border.
The Meta Horizon Worlds v145 update is part of Meta’s ongoing commitment to improving the user experience in its virtual world, addressing bugs, and introducing new features to make navigation and interaction more intuitive and enjoyable.
