Set in the Universal Century 0096, the VR film follows an independent mercenary group hired by the Earth Federation to track down a former commander who has joined the Neo Zeon remnants known as “Sleeves.” This storyline offers a new adventure within the iconic Gundam universe, which celebrates its 45th anniversary in 2024.

The project is a collaborative effort involving Bandai Namco Filmworks, Atlas V, and Astrea, with contributions from notable figures such as director Kenichi Suzuki and screenwriter Ryลji Sekinishi.
