A futuristic rhythm-climbing experience Peak Rhythm is released on Meta Quest in Early Access, priced at $12.99.
Developed by Vienna-based studio Zeitlos Interactive, the game invites players to ascend glowing skyscrapers under neon skies—matching every climb, twist, and grab to the beat of seven original music tracks. Precision is everything: as Timing Rings pulse and close around the rhythm, clean hits propel players skyward while misses slow their climb.
A New Take on Rhythm and Motion
At the heart of Peak Rhythm is its distinctive 5×5 Grip Grid, which anchors the game’s kinetic flow. Players master three grip types—Regular, Twist, and Double—to control tempo, fluidity, and momentum. The scoring system rewards rhythm mastery by converting accuracy into height and speed, turning every track into a vertical dance of skill and timing.

Features Ready at Launch
The Early Access version includes:
- Seven original tracks, each offering three difficulty levels.
- A built-in Beatmap Editor, allowing players to create custom routes with their own music.
- Comprehensive practice tools, including an endless mode, replayable tutorials, and an in-game wiki.
- Accessibility tuning, with adjustable player height, remappable grips, customizable colors, and reduced VFX options for visual comfort.
Multiplayer functionality is slated as one of the first post-launch updates, giving rhythm climbers a future arena for friendly competition and community challenges.
Building a Climbing Community
Zeitlos Interactive envisions Peak Rhythm’s Early Access period as a living testbed for new routes, techniques, and community-built maps. Players can join the growing Peak Rhythm community on Discord, connect on platforms like X, TikTok, and Instagram, and share their creative Beatmaps with others.

Behind the Studio
Founded in Vienna by Lorenz Gonsa, Daniel Wetzelhütter, Martin Hatler, and Vincent Thierry, Zeitlos Interactive began shaping Peak Rhythm as a game jam experiment to prove that rhythm mechanics could reinvent climbing games. Supported by the Vienna Business Agency, their concept evolved into a competitive, technique-heavy VR experience.
The project is published by Impact Inked, the VR-focused division of Impact Reality, known for supporting original VR-first projects and helping creators turn innovative concepts into polished, immersive titles.
