Peak Rhythm Turns Climbing Into a Neon Beat Adventure on Meta Quest

Austrian studio Zeitlos Interactive and publisher Impact Inked have announced that their rhythm-infused climbing game, Peak Rhythm, will arrive in Early Access on Meta Quest starting March 5, 2026, priced at $12.99.

The game blends vertical climbing mechanics with music synchronization, setting players high above a glowing city skyline. Instead of gravity, rhythm drives every motion. Players climb a dynamic 5×5 grip grid, grabbing and twisting holds in time with pulsating Timing Rings that contract to the beat. Every well-timed move propels a robotic platform upward—miss a cue, and the descent begins.

The Beat Is the Path Upward

In Peak Rhythm, altitude is everything. Your height doubles as your score, rewarding precision and punishing hesitation. Perfect timing delivers speed and flow, while missteps slow progress or send you dropping into recovery mode.

The gameplay evolves through three grip types—Regular, Twist, and Double—challenging players to adapt their rhythm and technique. Movement depends on instinct and body coordination, turning each climb into a full-body musical performance.

Soundtrack and Creation Tools

The Early Access release will feature seven original songs across genres like Drum & Bass, Dubstep, House, and Disco, including artists such as FEISTLING, Killin’ Void, Ion Diary, and funiel. Each track includes three difficulty levels, with leaderboards for players chasing perfection and height records.

Creators will also have immediate access to a fully functional Beatmap Editor, allowing custom track creation with personal music files. The editor ensures community-driven content right from launch, bolstered by features like a practice mode, tutorials, and a built-in in-game wiki for learning advanced techniques.

A Community-Driven Climb

Zeitlos Interactive describes Peak Rhythm’s Early Access period as a “live testing ground” for fresh routes, mechanics, and community-made maps. Multiplayer support is already in development and is planned as one of the first updates after release.

Players can follow Peak Rhythm on X, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Bluesky, or join the official Discord community to share maps, discuss techniques, and stay updated on post-launch content.
