CyberSnake-X is ready to unleash its adrenaline-charged debut title, Plasmaborne, which officially exits Early Access on March 24 at 7:00 PM CET during the VR Games Showcase pre-show.
A passion project turned community-driven triumph, Plasmaborne brings the spirit of classic “boomer shooters” into the world of modern virtual reality. Designed as a fast-paced, single-player VR roguelike shooter, the game rewards speed, precision, and adaptability over sheer endurance.
Players wield dual weapons with complete freedom, customizing each loadout and stacking passives that dramatically alter every run. With meticulously handcrafted arenas — no procedural filler here — Plasmaborne challenges reflexes and creativity in equal measure, demanding fresh strategies for every encounter.

A Core Loop of Power and Progress
At the heart of the experience lies a familiar yet intoxicating roguelike rhythm: fall, rise, adapt, and return stronger. Every defeat is a chance to rebuild, unlocking new abilities and refining your playstyle until you reach godlike mastery.
Available now for Meta Quest 2 and 3 at $9.99, Plasmaborne delivers explosive VR combat that blends the chaos of Doom with the progression depth of Hades.
A Soundtrack Born from the Extreme
The game’s sonic identity comes courtesy of Alex Stjernfeldt, a Swedish musician known for his work with Novarupta, Grand Cadaver, and The Moth Gatherer. Written, performed, and recorded entirely by Stjernfeldt, the soundtrack — mastered by Karl Daniel Lidén and distributed by Suicide Records — is a dark, electrifying complement to the game’s kinetic combat.

To celebrate the launch, fans can pre-order a limited-edition vinyl for a 30-day window or stream the full soundtrack online.
