PlayStation VR2 to Support PC Games with New Adapter Starting August 7

Sony has announced that PlayStation VR2 (PS VR2) owners will soon be able to expand their gaming experience to PC. Starting August 7, 2024, the PS VR2 will be compatible with a wide range of SteamVR titles, thanks to a new PC adapter.

Expanding the Game Library

The PS VR2, initially launched for the PlayStation 5, introduced players to a new generation of VR gaming with advanced sensory features and innovative gameplay. Now, Sony is extending the capabilities of the PS VR2 to include PC gaming, allowing users to access thousands of VR games available on Steam. This includes popular titles such as “Half-Life: Alyx,” “Fallout 4 VR,” and “War Thunder.”

Adapter and Setup Requirements

To use the PS VR2 on a PC, players will need to purchase the PlayStation VR2 PC adapter, priced at $59.99 / €59.99 / £49.99.
