InnerspaceVR has launched its newest virtual reality title, Spymaster, now available in Early Access on Meta Quest and SteamVR. The Paris-based studio continues its focus on immersive storytelling, delivering a spy-themed experience built around strategy, action, and innovative VR mechanics.
A Mission to Stop Global Surveillance
Spymaster takes place in a near-future world dominated by surveillance and control. Players join NODE, the last remaining independent spy agency, tasked with stopping the powerful corporation Protocore. Taking control of elite operatives TIC, Mulligan, and OSCR, players must execute high-risk missions to prevent a global surveillance takeover.

Tactical Gameplay with Time Control
At the heart of the experience is the C.A.S.S.E.T.T.E. system, a device that allows players to simulate mission outcomes and coordinate multiple agents. This mechanic enables precise planning and synchronization, turning each operation into a carefully orchestrated sequence.
If things do not go as planned, players can rewind time, adjust decisions, and optimize their strategy. This adds a puzzle-like layer to missions, rewarding experimentation and efficiency.
Diverse Locations and Cinematic Action
Operations are managed from a hidden command center inside a trawler, with missions spanning various global environments. Players will navigate rooftop chases in Venice, infiltrate icy Arctic bases, and tackle a range of action-packed and stealth-focused objectives.
Each agent comes equipped with unique gadgets, while the game’s dialogue introduces a light, humorous tone inspired by classic spy films.

Developer Focus on Community Feedback
Game Director Jeremy Moirano highlighted that Spymaster marks InnerspaceVR’s first step into self-publishing and Early Access. The team aims to work closely with the community, using player feedback to refine gameplay systems and improve the overall experience ahead of full release.
