Seoul, South Korea, October 24, 2024 – Skonec Entertainment has unveiled a comprehensive overhaul of their acclaimed VR PvP hero shooter, Strike Rush. The update, titled Season 2: Unknown Villain, introduces a suite of new features and improvements based on player feedback, aiming to enhance the gaming experience for both seasoned players and newcomers.

New Features and Enhancements

The overhaul includes several new gameplay modes, characters, weapons, and maps, along with a complete UI redesign:

  • Gameplay Modes: A new Team Deathmatch mode has been introduced, offering a more intense and combat-centric experience compared to traditional capture modes. Players can now queue for matches while engaging in the Quick Battle mode, seamlessly transitioning into Team Deathmatch once teams are matched. Additionally, a Quest system has been added, providing daily and weekly challenges that reward players for completing various objectives.
  • Characters: Two new characters join the roster. Cain, a cold-blooded assassin known for his unpredictable tactics and crowd control abilities, and Benny, a ‘Goblin-type’ Blitzmon with deceptive appearances but formidable capabilities.
  • Weapons: The update introduces the Griffin rocket launcher, which delivers powerful area-of-effect damage. This weapon can be found at specific locations within arenas but is limited in availability.
  • Maps: Following the SHINING VESSEL map addition earlier this year, the B-13 Laboratory map is now available. This multi-layered structure offers new strategic opportunities across all gameplay modes.
  • UI Overhaul: The game’s menus and user interface have been completely revamped to provide a more immersive and streamlined experience from the moment players enter the game.

Season 2 Highlights

  • New Blitzer: Cain

This free update is now available to all Strike Rush players on Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest 3S, and Quest Pro devices. The game continues to support 4v4 team-based co-op play with six unique Blitzer characters and their Blitzmon companions.
