ReVR Games has released the first major post-launch update for Stunt X Mania, expanding its Meta Quest motocross experience with a new control option, enhanced haptic feedback, fresh arena content and more immersive audio.
Launched in July, Stunt X Mania aims to bring freestyle motocross action into virtual reality, allowing players to pull off wheelies, flips and high-risk aerial tricks from home. The Summer Update is now available as a free download for all existing players.
Arcade Controls Make Riding Easier
One of the headline additions is a new arcade-style control scheme designed for players who want a more immediate and accessible way to ride.
While Stunt X Mania already features manual controls intended to emulate the handling and movement of a motocross bike, the new option reduces the barrier to entry for newcomers. Players can jump straight into the action, focus on performing stunts and learn the fundamentals before moving on to the game’s more demanding manual setup.
The update is intended to give both casual riders and VR motocross enthusiasts more freedom in how they approach the game.

Stronger Feedback and Arena Atmosphere

ReVR Games has also upgraded the title’s haptic feedback, making bumps, jumps and hard landings more noticeable through the Meta Quest controllers. The goal is to give every movement on the bike a clearer physical response, from taking off a ramp to touching down after a trick.
New atmospheric and ambient audio has been added to the arenas as well. Crowds will now react while players chain together tricks, helping the venues feel livelier during stunt runs.
Rohan Das, Chief Game Designer and co-founder of ReVR Games, said the team wants the game to feel more like a lived-in racing experience rather than simply a motocross title played in VR.
“From the streets of India to virtual tracks around the world, Stunt X Mania is putting immersive racing on a global starting grid,” Das said. “Thanks to our latest update, this isn’t a bike racing game you play. It’s a bike racing experience you live.”
New Map, Ramps and Bike Skins
Beyond the gameplay-system changes, the Summer Update brings additional content to Stunt X Mania:
- A new map for riders to explore
- Additional ramps for landing new tricks and combo lines
- More bike skins for personalising each rider’s motorcycle
- Enhanced haptics for impacts, terrain and landings
- New arena ambience and crowd sounds
- Arcade controls alongside the existing manual-riding option
The new map and ramp additions should give players more opportunities to build high-scoring trick combinations, while the expanded selection of bike skins adds another cosmetic option for riders looking to customise their setup.
