Stunt X Mania Summer Update Adds Arcade Controls, Haptics and New VR Content

ReVR Games is preparing to release the first major post-launch update for Stunt X Mania, introducing a more accessible control option, expanded haptic feedback, a new map and additional customization content for Meta Quest players.

Arriving as a free update on August 27, the Summer Update builds on the VR motocross game’s July launch with features designed to make both casual stunt riders and players seeking a more simulation-focused experience feel at home.

More Accessible Riding

A new arcade-style control scheme is among the update’s biggest additions. It is intended to offer faster, more immediate inputs and make it easier for players to pick up the bike, navigate arenas and start landing tricks without first mastering the game’s manual riding systems.

Players who want more detailed bike handling can still use the existing full manual controls, giving Stunt X Mania two approaches to VR motocross: a simpler arcade experience and a more involved control style for riders looking to refine their technique.

Stronger Sense of Impact

The update also expands the game’s haptic feedback, allowing Meta Quest players to feel more of the action through impacts, jumps, uneven terrain and landings. ReVR Games says the improved feedback is meant to make the virtual motorcycle feel more responsive during high-speed stunt runs.

New environmental and ambient audio has also been added to the arenas. Crowd sounds will now accompany players’ performances, aiming to create a livelier atmosphere as they chain tricks and pursue larger combo scores.

New Map, Ramps and Skins

Alongside gameplay improvements, the Summer Update broadens the available content with:

  • A new map to explore
  • Additional ramps for stunt attempts
  • More bike skins for vehicle customization
  • Enhanced haptics for bumps, jumps and landings
  • Arcade-style controls for a more approachable riding experience
  • New crowd and arena ambience

Rohan Das, Chief Game Designer and co-founder of ReVR Games, said the studio wants to make VR motocross feel less like a traditional racing game and more like an experience players can inhabit.

“From the streets of India to virtual tracks around the world, Stunt X Mania is putting immersive racing on a global starting grid,” Das said. “Thanks to our latest update, this isn’t a bike racing game you play. It’s a bike racing experience you live.”

Free Update on August 27

The Stunt X Mania Summer Update will be released free for all existing players on August 27, 2026. The game is available now on Meta Quest for $9.99 / £6.99.

Stunt X Mania lets players perform motocross-inspired moves such as wheelies, 360-degree flips, Superman tricks and One-hand Heart Attacks, with successful runs contributing toward high-scoring stunt combinations.
