Synth Riders Expands ’80s Nostalgia with New DLC Pack

Kluge Interactive has released a new downloadable content (DLC) pack for their popular virtual reality rhythm game, Synth Riders. Titled “80s Mixtape – Side B,” this latest addition brings seven classic hits from the 1980s to the game’s already extensive soundtrack.

New Tracks and Availability

The “80s Mixtape – Side B” DLC features an impressive lineup of iconic ’80s songs:

  • Queen – “Don’t Stop Me Now”
  • Wham! – “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go”
  • Toto – “Africa”
  • Simple Minds – “Don’t You (Forget About Me)”
  • The Cure – “Just Like Heaven”
  • Daryl Hall & John Oates – “Out of Touch”
  • Rick Astley – “Never Gonna Give You Up”

This new pack is now available for Synth Riders players on multiple platforms, including Meta Quest, SteamVR, PlayStation VR2, and Apple Vision Pro.

Expanding the Synth Riders Experience

With the addition of “80s Mixtape – Side B,” Synth Riders’ soundtrack now boasts over 150 songs. This includes 77 licensed tracks available for free with the base game and 75 optional DLCs featuring a diverse range of artists.

Players can enjoy these new tracks in the 80s-inspired Endless Café stage or explore other retrowave-inspired environments within the game.

Pricing and Future Plans

The “80s Mixtape – Side B” music pack is available for purchase, with individual songs priced at $1.99 or as part of a bundle for $10.99. Apple Arcade subscribers on Apple Vision Pro will have access to all tracks included in their subscription.

Kluge Interactive has expressed plans to continue expanding the Synth Riders experience throughout 2025 and beyond. The studio aims to release more tracks and unique “Experiences,” similar to their recent collaboration with Mattel for a Barbie™-themed event.
