Terra Alia is a steampunk RPG set in a world where technology and magic coexist. The game uniquely integrates a multilingual system for spellcasting, allowing players to craft spells using words from ten different languages. Initially released in early access last November, the game has undergone significant improvements and now includes a variety of new features and content.

Key Updates and Features:

  • New Locations: Three expansive new areas with extended storylines and additional side quests.

Game Overview:

Players start their journey at the Magic Academy to investigate the mysterious disappearance of Professor Esperanto. As players progress, they can expand their vocabulary and master more powerful spells.

Terra Alia is also available on Nintendo Switch and Steam. Interested reviewers can request access codes for these platforms.

Storyline:

In Terra Alia, magic and technology are intertwined, yet some factions aim to restrict magical knowledge. Under the guidance of Professor Esperanto, a proponent of equal access to magic, players must uncover the mystery behind her disappearance. The journey involves retrieving pieces of an enchanted stone to rescue the professor, with the help of her cyber-familiar, Falco.

Gameplay:

Players can choose from ten languages, including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and Simplified Chinese. The game offers 7-9 hours of gameplay per language, with a total of 40-50 hours to complete the story across all languages.

Additional Content:

An upcoming 24-page comic by award-winning author Sylvain Runberg will further explore the world of Terra Alia, focusing on the adventures of five underprivileged teens. This comic is set to launch later this year.

Terra Alia: The Spell-Finitive Edition promises an immersive VR experience that blends language learning with magical adventure, now enhanced with new features and available at a special launch price.
