Resolution Games has released a major update for Retrocade on Apple Arcade, introducing Tetris as a core title for Apple Vision Pro users. Previously tucked away as a hidden Easter egg, the legendary puzzle game now takes a central place in the platform’s growing retro collection.
This version includes a faithful recreation of the original Elektronika 60 build developed by Alexey Pajitnov more than 40 years ago, giving players a chance to experience the earliest form of one of gaming’s most influential titles.
Immersive 1980s Japanese Arcade Experience
Alongside Tetris, the update brings a brand-new virtual environment exclusive to Apple Vision Pro. Players can explore a fully realized Japanese arcade inspired by the neon-lit gaming hubs of the mid-1980s.
The space is designed to reflect the cultural moment when arcades helped push video games into the global mainstream. From lighting and layout to overall atmosphere, every detail aims to recreate the authentic feel of that era, enhanced through spatial computing.

Tetris, however, is currently available only on the Apple Vision Pro version of Retrocade, making it a standout addition for users of the spatial computing headset.
