Martin Rumenov The upcoming mixed-reality strategy title is inviting Meta Quest players to test its competitive 1v1 and 2v2 modes before launch.
LingVision Games and SoulFire Studio Team have begun the first multiplayer Closed Beta Test for The Great Flood, a mixed-reality real-time strategy game planned for Meta Quest in Q4 2026.
The test gives selected players an early opportunity to experience the game’s tactical battles, progression systems and squad-building mechanics. While the title will also feature PvE content, this beta focuses primarily on competitive multiplayer, with both 1v1 and 2v2 matches available for testing.
Developers will use the CBT to evaluate the stability and overall flow of online matches, ensuring that players can deploy units, react to opponents and use mixed-reality battlefields without technical issues ahead of release.
Build and Adapt Your Squad
The Great Flood centres on building a 10-unit team composed of two powerful heroes and eight supporting soldiers. Players can unlock additional mythical characters, experiment with different squad line-ups and adjust their tactics based on the enemy they face.
During battle, players can select troops directly from their arm and place them onto the battlefield in real time. The game also lets players upgrade mythical monsters, construct defensive towers and alter strategies as a match develops.
The beta includes a tutorial for newcomers, helping players understand the fundamentals of squad-based combat before they take on other participants online. XP progression is also available, allowing testers to unlock rewards and upgrades as they play.
Closed Beta Ends August 18
Applications are open to all Meta Quest owners, with remaining places still available at the time of announcement. The multiplayer Closed Beta Test will run for two weeks and is scheduled to end on August 18, 2026.
Players interested in taking part can find the registration form through The Great Flood’s social-media channels. Testers are also encouraged to join the game’s Discord community to share feedback, discuss strategies and report their experiences directly to the development team.
The Great Flood is expected to launch on Meta Quest during the fourth quarter of 2026, bringing its mix of PvP, PvE and hands-on mixed-reality RTS gameplay to VR players.
