Master Crowd Games is preparing to launch The Magician VR: The Cursed Wand, a wave-based virtual reality combat title built around rapid wand gestures and action-focused spellcasting. The game is scheduled to arrive on Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S on October 8, 2026.
Gesture-Based Spellcasting
Rather than slowing players down with elaborate rune-drawing systems or complex spell inputs, The Magician VR: The Cursed Wand uses quick hand and wand movements to cast magic in the middle of combat.
The central idea is to keep the player moving as enemies approach in waves. Players can perform fast gestures, unleash spells and link attacks together without pausing the fight, creating a more frantic and reactive style of VR wizard combat.
Master Crowd Games says it has designed the experience around the feeling of seamlessly chaining spells against incoming threats. The goal is for combat to be accessible enough to pick up quickly while still rewarding timing, movement and fast reactions under pressure.

Built for Quest Players
The Magician VR: The Cursed Wand will launch exclusively across Meta’s current Quest hardware lineup:
- Meta Quest 2
- Meta Quest 3
- Meta Quest 3S
As a wave-combat game, it appears aimed at players looking for short, replayable VR action sessions, with the wand serving as the main tool for both offense and moment-to-moment interaction.

Release Date
The Magician VR: The Cursed Wand launches October 8, 2026, for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S.
