Estonian developer CM Games, in partnership with indie studio Superposition NULL, has announced that their acclaimed VR puzzle title UnLoop will debut on Steam Early Access next week, November 13, 2025.

After its initial success on Meta and Pico in September, UnLoop is bringing its full experience to PCVR players, complete with all existing puzzles and mechanics from the standalone release.

Seamless Launch and Broad Hardware Support

The Early Access release won’t be a stripped-down version — players will get access to the complete game from day one. The PC version supports major VR controllers, including those for Meta Quest, Pico, and Valve Index.

The developers are actively inviting community feedback to determine which additional headsets and controller setups should be prioritized next.

Built with optimization in mind, the team promises that UnLoop will run smoothly on any system capable of handling SteamVR.

Future Updates and Pricing

Throughout the Early Access phase, players can expect consistent post-launch support. Upcoming updates will introduce new puzzles, expanded storylines, and visual upgrades, with enhanced lighting, shadows, and effects.

CM Games confirmed that UnLoop will be priced at $24.99 USD (or local equivalent) both during and after Early Access. All future expansions — including the planned 1.1 update in December — will be available free of charge.

Inside the Loop: Gameplay and Setting

Set in a retro-futuristic world, UnLoop blends espionage with brain-bending mechanics. Players take the role of a spy infiltrating a distant space station when a temporal anomaly begins duplicating their actions across time.

Each loop creates a past version of the player that replays earlier moves in real-time. Success depends on mastering cooperation — not with teammates, but with your past and future selves — to manipulate time, solve complex puzzles, and uncover the truth behind the anomaly.
