Martin Rumenov Estonian developer Superposition NULL, in partnership with publisher CM Games, has announced during the UploadVR Showcase that its acclaimed self-coop sci-fi puzzler UnLoop is set to receive a major free update, Version 1.1.0 – “More Time to Spy,” on December 13, 2025. The update will launch simultaneously on Meta Quest, PCVR, and Pico platforms.
The new content drop promises to significantly expand gameplay with 20+ fresh levels and introduces two freshly designed mechanics — the Portable Shield, nicknamed Palanx, and the Heavy Turret. Together, these features elevate the tactical depth of puzzles as players navigate the all-new Repair Conduits station sector. The Palanx shield protects the player and their time-loop copies from advanced security systems that were previously impossible to overcome, while the Heavy Turret adds a new layer of danger requiring careful coordination between loops.
Narratively, “More Time to Spy” propels UnLoop’s story forward. Following the dramatic events of the last chapter, the rogue copy who trapped the Spy has seized control of the station and stolen critical intelligence. Players will pursue this antagonist through the new environment, uncovering additional background about the mysterious Temporal Research Hub along the way.
Beyond the fresh content, Update 1.1.0 also includes numerous fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and performance optimizations, ensuring an even smoother VR experience. Superposition NULL teases that players should “keep their spy-senses sharp,” hinting that this may be UnLoop’s most brain-bending chapter yet.
