Martin Rumenov Beloved Fantasy Simulator Arrives on Mobile with Major New Update
Reykjavík-based studio Aldin Dynamics has announced that its whimsical and experimental wizarding adventure, Waltz of the Wizard, will arrive on iOS devices worldwide on October 27, 2025. The launch coincides with the debut of Skully’s Fantastic Fails, a major cross-platform content update rolling out on the same day for PC, Meta Quest, and iOS, with PlayStation 5 and PS VR2 versions planned later this year.
Magic in Your Pocket
Originally celebrated for its groundbreaking interactivity in VR, Waltz of the Wizard now lets iPhone and iPad users conjure spells, brew chaotic potions, and uncover fantastical secrets wherever they are. Players will be joined by the fan-favorite character Skully, the ever-talkative floating skull who reacts dynamically to player choices.
The iOS version introduces touch-friendly controls and a unique AR-enabled “Reality Mode”, allowing players to merge the magical world with real-life surroundings. Using facial input, players can wink, hide, or even play with Skully in ways that mimic the VR experience.

The Skully’s Fantastic Fails update brings a wealth of content for both IOS, Steam and Meta Quest players. Highlights include:
