Martin Rumenov Double Jack’s award-winning VR rhythm game Maestro — crowned Meta’s Game of the Year 2024 — is setting sail once again with a brand-new content expansion. The newly released “All Aboard!” DLC invites players to don their captain’s hat and take command of an epic, oceanic orchestra, featuring new tracks, visuals, and pirate-inspired flair.

The centerpiece of this pack is a pair of legendary tracks from Pirates of the Caribbean: Hans Zimmer and Klaus Badelt’s “He’s a Pirate” and “Jack Sparrow.” Joining those are nautical classics and sea shanties, including the folk favorite Wellerman, Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Shipwreck from Scheherazade, and Vaughan Williams’ A Sea Symphony (Overture)—offering a sweeping musical journey for VR maestros to command.
In true Maestro fashion, the DLC isn’t just about the music. Players can expect a lavishly themed stage featuring a ghostly pirate ship, a monstrous Kraken, and cannonballs flying overhead, giving conducting performances a swashbuckling twist. New cosmetic items, such as pirate-themed batons, gloves, and costumes, round out the immersive experience.
“All Aboard!” is now available on Meta Quest and SteamVR, with releases for PSVR2 and Pico platforms coming soon.
Previous expansions have explored similarly rich worlds — from the Star Wars “Duel of the Fates” pack to the magic-infused “Secret Sorcery” set featuring Harry Potter and Fantasia, and the dark fantasy “Doom Bound” pack with music from Game of Thrones and The Lord of the Rings. Each new addition continues to broaden Maestro’s eclectic library of orchestral anthems.
Developed by French VR studio Double Jack and published by Creature, Maestro places players in the role of a symphonic conductor, using hand gestures to lead a digital orchestra across genres ranging from classical to electronic. Since its launch in 2024, the title has been praised for its innovative gameplay and immersive presentation, with UploadVR noting that “Maestro ambitiously redefines VR rhythm gaming” in its 4.5/5 review.
Launched under Creature’s publishing label and backed by the SideQuest x Creature $1,000,000 Indie VR Fund, Maestro continues to stand as a centerpiece of VR innovation, seamlessly blending art, rhythm, and interactivity.
